- Yes. It's built in South Africa, prices are in ZAR, VAT defaults to 15%, and we integrate directly with PayFast and Yoco.
- How much does it cost?
- Free for up to 5 invoices a month, forever. Pro is R89/month or R890/year for unlimited invoices, recurring billing, automated reminders and online payments.
- Does it replace Sage or Xero?
- For most freelancers and small businesses, yes. Alongside invoicing you can import CSV or Excel bank statements, categorise every transaction against your own chart of accounts, keep personal spending and transfers out of the business figures, and pull a profit & loss for your tax year with a spreadsheet export for your accountant. Formal journals, creditors ledgers and tax submissions still sit with your accountant.
- Does it handle my bank statements?
- Yes. Download each bank statement as a CSV or Excel file (.csv, .xlsx or .xls preferred; text-based PDF is also available, but can be inaccurate and you are responsible for checking every extracted transaction against the original), add the bank account, then import it with automatic column detection and duplicate warnings. Categorise the transactions or let your own rules do it for you.
- Can I accept card and EFT payments?
- Yes. Connect your own PayFast and/or Yoco accounts. Clients pay by card, instant EFT or scan-to-pay. We never take a cut of the transaction.
- What about VAT invoices?
- Invoices include your VAT number, 15% VAT line, totals broken out correctly — fully SARS-friendly.
- Can I send recurring invoices to retainer clients?
- Yes. Set a schedule once (weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly) and LekkerVoice generates and emails each invoice automatically.
